D+D Real Czech Masters: Power ranking the top 10 at Albatross
Everyone’s favorite hungover golfer is more than a one-day wonder. The 27-year-old Englishman is approaching the coveted world top 50 for the first time in his career.
When you pick up a win and a solo runner-up finish in the same year, that’ll happen.
Pepperell broke through for his first European Tour win at the Qatar Masters in February. He followed it up with a T14 at the Sicilian Open and in recent weeks a solo second at the Scottish Open (Rolex Series), T6 at the Open Championship and another made cut at the PGA Championship (T59).
Peperell’s got some of the best current form in the field and has history at Albatross to back it up.
He finished T5 in the tournament debut in 2014 and replicated that result in 2017. He also was T22 in 2015.
Peperell is having a tough year on the greens but was fifth in putting last year at Albatross. That’s good news as he’s 26th in strokes gained off the tee and second approaching the green.
