D+D Real Czech Masters: Power ranking the top 10 at Albatross
Dean Burmester is quietly having a solid year primarily playing on the European Tour.
The 29-year-old South African is hoping to make his eighth straight cut this week. That stretch includes two top-10s and nothing worse than a T56.
Burmester posted a T3 to start the streak at the Investec Royal Swazi Open on the African Tour and bookended it with a T9 in his last start at the Scottish Open.
After a five-week break, Burmester is primed to play some more good golf leading into the Race to Dubai Final Series.
Burmester has almost mastered Albatross, posting a T35 in his debut in 2016 and a T14 in 2017. I envision more improvement this time around.
He is 28th on the European Tour in par-5 scoring and can let loose this week (sixth in driving distance). Aside from putting he’s above average in all categories.
I see him being able to get by hitting lots of greens and hoping enough fall for birdie.
