Matt Wallace isn’t yet a household name, but I’m willing to bang the drum for him.

Just two years ago, the young Englishman was tearing it up on the Alps Tour. Yes, he was winning a ton, but still, it was the Alps Tour.

He then proceeded to win the next year in a Challenge Tour/European Tour co-sanctioned event. Now, the 28-year-old has two Euro Tour wins in 2018 at the Hero Indian Open and this summer at the BMW International Open.

Wallace comes into this week fresh off of two weeks’ rest after a T19 at the PGA Championship in just his third major championship start.

He finished T43 at the 2017 Czech Masters and was never quite able to get a low round or two going to contend.

Wallace ranks 18th in eagles and is above average in most statistical categories.

He’s got six top-25s this season and might be a better value than the next two names on my list.
