Ryder Cup Henrik Stenson

Another familiar European player that has played in multiple Ryder Cups that Bjorn could target would be Henrik Stenson.  He was a part of the 2006 European team that won at The K Club and the 2014 team that won at Gleneagles. He was also a part of 2008 team that came up short at Valhalla GC, and the 2016 team that lost at Hazeltine.

His Ryder Cup record might not be that impressive, but his groups have won 5 points over the last two cups and will definitely not be scared of any big moment. Stenson would also form an interesting pairing with his fellow Swede Norén, which could have instant chemistry based off their national pride.

He has played in four of the last six Ryder cups, and that is the experience Bjorn will be looking for to have a good balance between young players and veterans. Stenson had been in the top ten golfers in the world consistently for the past few seasons, and he is still ranked in the top 20 right now, so it would not be a stretch at all to have him on the roster.
