Jason Day has made TPC Boston his play place over the years, though he’s yet to seal the deal. The Aussie has played the Dell Technologies Championship every year since 2008 and hasn’t missed a weekend.

Aside from 2008 and 2012, Day has been inside the top 25 each time. His closest calls were a T2 in 2010 and a T3 in 2011. He’s coming off a T25 last year where he shot par or better all four days.

In 2010 he was in the hunt to win until Charley Hoffman’s Sunday 62. He was only two off the pace the next year and had four rounds in the 60s.

Day is first on Tour in strokes gained around the green. Without looking it up, I’m going to assume he got up and down from the bunker in the photo above.

He’s also first in putting and 28th in strokes gained tee to green. Day’s approach stats aren’t great, but he’s obviously finding ways around that.

Day finished T20 last week to stretch his top-20 streak to five. On the year he has two wins, a runner up and two more top-10s.
