Finishing T12 with four rounds in the 60s last week was Brooks Koepka’s worst start in his last four starts. Not bad.

Koepka won the PGA Championship, was fifth the week prior at the WGC-Bridgestone and began the FedEx Cup Playoffs with a T8 at the Northern Trust.

He’s still in the heart of the playoff race if he keeps his late summer form intact.

Koepka is 14th in strokes gained tee to green and should be able to let loose on a few holes here. He’s also fifth in birdie average as well as in scrambling.

This will be Koepka’s seventh start in eight weeks. I still like him to contend and stick inside the top 10 of the FedEx Cup, but his up and down putting makes me want to give the edge to the next three guys coming up.
