This was once a favorite stop of Charl Schwartzel, but now he’s making his first appearance since 2010.

The South African was 6-for-6 in cuts made between 2003-2010 with a T5 in 2010 and a solo sixth in 2009.

Schwartzel’s had an up-and-down 2018 with a T2 at the Players Championship the highlight among his three top-10s in 18 starts.

He played the weekend three weeks in a row before missing the cut at the Northern Trust and subsequently bowing out of the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Playoffs.

Schwartzel has prodiminantly played in the U.S. this year, so we’ll take a glimpse at his PGA Tour stats.

He’s 14th in proximity from the rough, a skill that would come in handy for just about anyone playing this week’s tight test. Schwartzel is also 45th in putts per round.
