Ryan Fox is the second-highest ranked player without a win this year in the Race to Dubai. The New Zealander is on the cusp of the top 10 thanks to five top-10s in 18 starts.

He finished solo second at the Irish Open and T6 at the Scottish Open in the summer. Fox has also made 15 of 18 cuts and played all four rounds at both majors he qualified for, the U.S. Open and Open Championship.

Fox impressed in his Omega European Masters debut last year. He finished T9 and was a shot off the lead after his opening 65.

He’s still in just his second full year on the European Tour, but he’s done enough to prove he’s ready to win. This might be the week.

Fox’s length won’t be as big of an asset as normal at Crans-sur-Sierre, but he’s good with his irons (14th in GIR) and is a respectable 56th in strokes gained around the green.
