The European Tour marches on with a short trip from the Swiss Alps to this week’s stop near Amsterdam, the KLM Open.

Hometown favorite Joost Luiten took the title in year one. Romain Wattel notched his first European Tour win in year two.

What will year three at The Dutch bring for the KLM Open?

Looking at the field, there are a lot of avenues for bettors and fantasy owners to take this week. There are a boatload of players inside the top 50 of the Race to Dubai standings but none in the top 10.

The field will be taking on a Colin Montgomerie design constructed with this tournament in mind in 2011. The inland course has some links elements, particularly in how exposed to wind it is. Early forecasts in Spijk call for a chance of rain Thursday with light to moderate winds and temperatures in the 60s.

This might be a week to sit back and wait until Wednesday night to make picks based on the draws.

The Dutch measures 6,983 yards for a par-71. Water is in play on 12 holes and three par-5s in the final six holes make for a volatile finish.

It’s hard to go wrong with solid players any week out of the year, but if the winds pick up, it’s tournaments like these where they can stand out. A good short game is handy this week as well, particularly with how these Bentgrass greens can kick away wayward shots.

This week seems apt for some wild card picks at high DFS or betting value, but here are ten of my most logical choices at the KLM Open:
