Li is the second highest ranked player in the world teeing it up in Spijk this week.

The 23-year-old from China already has two European Tour victories after he outdueled Rory McIlroy early this year at the Dubai Desert Classic.

Li’s made 12 of 17 cuts in 2018 and is rounding back into form after citing a wrist injury at the PGA Championship that caused a WD.

He’s not afraid of big stages as he made the cut at the year’s previous three majors and was top-25 at Rolex Series events the Italian Open, Open de France and Scottish Open.

It may take some time for Li to get back to full go (he MC’d last week in Switzerland), but he’s hands down one of the top talents in the field.

If the wind stays down as it projects, Li can attack an otherwise gettable course. He’s 17th on the European Tour in birdie average.

Li also ranks 28th in strokes gained off the tee.

He finished T20 at the 2016 KLM Open in his lone tournament appearance.
