If Aphibarnrat can move on from his rocky finish to last year’s event, he has plenty of good golf to fall back on from last year’s T9 finish.

He led by one after 54 holes and was in the thick of it until making two sevens in his last four holes.

Prior to that, the premiere ball striker was carving up The Dutch to the tune of 68-65-66. He went 39 holes in a row without a bogey from the back nine of the second round up until his Sunday implosion.

He finished the week ninth in driving accuracy, fifth in driving accuracy and third in greens in regulation.

Aphibarnrat comes in well-rested with last week’s T45 at the European Masters his first start since the PGA Championship.

He was a winner earlier this year at the World Super 6 Perth, one of five worldwide top-10s in 2018.
