Paul Casey had a stellar regular season but has come down to earth with a T60 at the Northern Trust, a T21 at the Dell Technologies Championship and a withdrawal last week at the BMW Championship. He cited back pain as his reason for pulling out at Aronimink. A week off should have him ready to go this week.

Casey’s got six top-10s worldwide this year including a win at the Valspar Championship.

He’s a positive in all strokes gained categories and is hitting the ball beautifully. Casey is 14th in approaches.

At the Tour Championship, Casey has finished T4-T5-4-5 in 2010 and more recently between 2015-17. If he’s healthy, Casey could come back in the friendly confines of East Lake.
