Rahm had a nice Tour Championship debut last year with a T7. He was just five shots off the lead and had three rounds in the 60s

A talented player like him should be a frequent visitor to East Lake in the future.He won earlier this year at the CareerBuilder Challenge and was also a winner at his home Open de Espana.

He’s looking for better form in the playoffs as a MC-T43-T24 string has him with a miniscule chance of winning the FedEx Cup.

Nonetheless, he’ll want to make sure his game is firing heading into his first Ryder Cup.

On the season, Rahm is fifth in strokes gained off the tee and 13th in greens in regulation. The 23-year-old smokes the ball and is third in birdie average.
