Portugal Masters: Power ranking the top 10 at Dom Pedro
Ironically, the higher we go up this week’s rankings, the fewer past champions there are.
Ross Fisher has got to be thinking he’ll win the Portugal Masters one of these years. The Englishman has four top-10s in nine starts with three more finishes inside the top 33.
This will be his first back to Dom Pedro since 2015.
Fisher has made three of his last four cuts worldwide which includes solid finishes against elite fields with a T17 at the WGC-Bridgestone and T39 at the Open Championship.
On the European Tour, he ranks 36th in strokes gained off the tee and is sixth in greens under regulation. He’ll need to make the most of his three par-5 chances per round and has the ability to do so.
