Safeway Open: Power ranking the top 10 golfers at Silverado
Chez Reavie’s plodding style suits Silverado well.
The proof is in the pudding as the straight hitter has finished T17, T22 and T13 in the previous three years (27-under par cumulative) and is 4-for-4 in cuts made total.
Reavie is quietly approaching the world top 50 after a solid season. The former Arizona State Sun Devil finished solo second at the Phoenix Open and T2 at Pebble Beach. The 2017-18 season netted 13 top-30 finishes and an appearance in the BMW Championship.
Reavie was third on Tour in driving accuracy and 15th in proximity playing from the fairway.
He’s not a sexy pick and has just one win in a decade-long career, but Reavie is likely a good DFS value play.
