Shane Lowry is looking for one more solid week to ensure his spot in the Race to Dubai Final Series. Top 70 automatically qualify for the first event, the Turkish Airlines Open.

At 66th, he’s safe now, but things could change between now and the end of the month.

Fortunately, Lowry has good history at Walton Heath. He led U.S. Open sectional qualifying in 2014 with scores of 69-67.

The Irishman found some form recently with a solo sixth at the Portugal Masters. It was his first top-10 but ninth top-30 of 2018.

Lowry hits it straight (52nd in driving accuracy) and has also been good with his irons (28th in approach). He won’t be a stranger to rainy conditions, either.
