Eddie Pepperell picked off his first win this year in Qatar. He comes to his home country with a strong chance at adding another.

Pepperell has made eight cuts in a row with five of them top-tens and two runner-ups.

Last week he handled tough conditions to post T44 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Pepperell is not as straight as you’d like, but his precision on his next shots is elite. He ranks sixth on the European Tour in strokes gained-approach and is also 46th in strokes gained around the green.

He’s made two of three cuts at the British Masters in his career.

Pepperell shot 67-66 to finish fifth at the 2017 U.S. Open sectional qualifier at Walton Heath.
