A win was all Lucas Bjerregaard had left to check off for a successful 2018. The Dane erased a huge deficit to emerge victorious on a windy Sunday last week at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

He fired rounds of 70-65-71-67.

It was Bjerregaards’s fourth top-10 in his last five starts. He has a whopping nine top-tens in 2018 in 22 starts.

He advanced from Walton Heath at the 2014 and 2015 sectional qualifiers.

Bjerregaard is like Olesen in that he is more of an aggressive, second-shot player. The Dane is seventh on the European Tour in birdies and 12th in strokes gained tee to green.
