Tommy Fleetwood may draw the biggest galleries of any this week playing alongside “Moliwood” partner Francesco Molinari and fellow Ryder Cupper, Thorbjorn Olesen, in rounds one and two.

The popular Englishman nearly won his second event of the year last week when his Sunday 69 left him one off the pace.

The T-2 was his eighth top-ten in 24 starts. He’s made the cut six straight times.

Fleetwood has proven he can play well in this environment with results of T4 and T13 in 2015 and 2016.

He ranks 13th on the European Tour in birdies (13th) and third tee to green. A wet course should also suit him well, especially if he is on a good side of a draw.

If not Fleetwood, may I suggest his teammate to pick for your lineup?
