JT never was on winner Marc Leishman’s radar last week at the CIMB Classic, but like clockwork he reeled off another high finish with a T5 (66-69-69-64). That was his seventh top-25 in a row (five top-10s and a win includes) leading into his defense of the CJ Cup.

Thomas was certainly on Leishman’s radar last year as that was the man he beat in the second hole of a sudden death playoff.

Thomas had an up and down week at Nine Bridges last year with scores of 63-74-70-72, though windy conditions were challenging for everyone involved.

It appears it’ll be less breezy this time around, so a pure ball striker like Thomas can really let loose. It’s the obvious choice, but JT is my favorite this week.
