Emiliano Grillo got his Asian Swing off on the right foot with a T2 last week at the CIMB Classic, The Argentinian is inside the top 20 of the Sagarin rankings, which is more of a power rankings than the OWGR.

He’s ascended so high due to seven top-tens and just two missed cuts in 2018. He’s played the weekend of every non-major and relatively recently was T-7 at the Dell Technologies Championship.

Grillo started off well with a 70 at last year’s CJ Cup before falling back to a T40.

He is sixth on Tour in the early going of the 2018-19 season and finished 43rd last year. Another strength is his accuracy off the tee (eighth on Tour). It’s not a huge asset here but it should ensure he’ll be playing from good positions this week.

This is his third week playing in a row but it comes on the heels of a three-week break, so fatigue shouldn’t be a huge issue.
