Stanley fared well in his CJ Cup debut with a T19 finish. In his last four starts in Asia, Stanley’s gone T21-T19-T5 and T13 last week at the CIMB Classic.

He was in the mix last year in Jeju Island, going into the weekend with rounds of 68 and 71 before falling back.

Stanley’s been consistent of late with four top-30s in his last five starts. He had two runner-ups last season at a pair of quality tournaments: The Memorial and WGC-Bridgestone. A run to the WGC-Match Play quarterfinals is another feather in his cap.

The name of the game most weeks is that Stanley is going to hit tons of fairways (sixth in driving accuracy) and greens (fourth in GIR) and it’s a matter of rolling in putts (112th in strokes gained). That’ll be the same this week, but this course sets up well for him to have tons of chances. It’s why he’s a consistent player and a good bet this week.
