The six-time European Tour winner is quietly regaining his form. Richard Sterne posted a T22 last week at the British Masters for his fourth top-25 in the last seven starts. He’s yet to record a top-10 in 2018, but it appears he’s not far off.

The 37-year-old is 43rd in stroke average but needs to make some a lot more cash this week to break into the top 70.

Sterne is 26th in greens in regulation and 42nd in birdie average.

The South African is 3-for-3 in cuts made at Valderrama with his last appearance coming in 2016.
