WGC-HSBC Champions: Power ranking the top 10 at Sheshan
Everyone leaves a World Golf Championship a richer man, but it’s especially true for Paul Casey. Save for a win, the Englishman has don’t it all at Sheshan with five top-10s and no finishes worse than T23 in 10 starts. Last year resulted in a T11.
Such consistency carries over to his overall calendar as he features just two missed cuts and a WD on his 2018 resume that includes a long-awaited win at the Valspar Championship over Tiger Woods, et al.
Casey is well-acclimated by now to the Asian time zone differences. He posted solid finishes of T13 and T18, respectively, at the CIMB Classic in Malaysia and CJ Cup in South Korea.
He finished in the positive in all main strokes gained categories on the PGA Tour last season and was 13th in strokes gained on approaches.
Although he doesn’t have a win at Sheshan, he’s proven to be a horse for the course worthy of a pick in your lineup this week.
