Shriners Hospitals for Children Open: Power ranking the top 10 at TPC Summerlin
Bryson DeChambeau improved from a T36 at the 2016 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open to a T7 last year. Could a win be coming next?
He shook off an opening 72 in ‘16 to come back with three under-par rounds and was just two out of a playoff last year.
DeChambeau played at another level in 2018 with three wins helping him climb inside the world top 10. He’s now at a career high sixth.
He comes in well-rested having not played competitively since the Ryder Cup. His last individual start was at the Tour Championship.
DeChambeau is a player who can contend on a lot of different types of courses. His 2017-18 Tour statistics show as much as he was above average in all strokes gained categories including 13th off the tee and 10th in SG approach.
His game wasn’t super sharp to end the playoffs and at Le Golf National, but Bryson is still one of the big standouts this week.
