Haotong Li won in one of his first few starts of the year. He’s looking like he could also win one of his last.

After Li won in January in Dubai, he went into a bit of a slump. That’s to be expected for a young player like Li, 23.

There’s no doubt he’s plenty talented and he’s righted the ship here in the fall. Li owns five straight top-30s and three straight finishes inside the top 11.

He acquitted himself well in his home country with a T11 last week at the WGC-HSBC Champions. Prior, he picked up a T5 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and a T9 at the British Masters. All three of these events featured pretty strong fields.

Li finished T2 at the 2016 Turkish Airlines Open and T66 last year. He was inside the top 20 in driving accuracy, driving distance, greens in regulation, putts per GIR and putts per round in 2016.
