Billy Horschel would love to carry over his late-summer momentum into the fall.

Starting with a T17 at the Quicken Loans National in July, the former Florida Gator got to chomping with six top-20s in nine starts including two runner-ups and two T3s.

Horschel hasn’t dropped off much in recent weeks with a T11 at the WGC-HSBC Champions to cap his full Asian swing. With a week off to recuperate, Horschel should be ready to give El Camaleon another shot.

Despite rounds of 70 and 71 to reach 1-under, Horschel missed the weekend at the 2016 Mayakoba.

Horschel finished 2017-18 ranked 23rd in strokes gained putting, 24th in proximity from 100-125 yards and third in GIR.

If there is anywhere to find room for improvement, it is going to be around the green. Horschel finished 160th there in strokes gained in 2017-18.

A win this week would put a bow on another strong year.
