A pair of top-10s at the Mayakoba make Emiliano Grillo a popular pick this week. The Argentine debuted with a T10 in 2016 and followed with a T9 last year. Rounds of 68-69-66-67 and 69-67-70-67 equate to 25-under-par. Last year, Grillo gained nearly two strokes per round on the greens while hitting over 80 percent GIR.

Grillo’s played good golf of late, too. He posted T14 at the WGC-HSBC Champions a couple weeks ago in his last start and also contended at the CIMB Classic in Malaysia where he finished T2.

Grillo’s up to seven top-10s in 2018 against just two missed cuts. Stats show he was eighth in driving accuracy, 32nd in birdie average and 43rd in strokes gained approaching the green last season.

It’s high time for the talented 26-year-old to win again for the first time since his 2015 rookie year.
