There’s a mixed bag of results for Andy Sullivan at the Nedbank Golf Challenge.

He finished middle of the pack for a T16 in 2015, nearly won the next year when the field expanded to 72 and was 65th last year.

Sullivan has played well in South Africa, particularly in 2015 when he won the Joburg Open and South African Open.

The Englishman has finished top-10 in a third of his starts this year and has come close to winning for the first time since 2015.

Sullivan is playing some of his best golf of the year right now. He’s made seven cuts in a row in which he has a T10 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and a T9 at the British Masters. His last start was a T18 at the Turkish Airlines Open where he closed with three rounds in the 60s.

Plenty of birdies are needed to win at Gary Player CC. That’s right up Sullivan’s alley as he is first on the European Tour with 4.52 per round. He’s also second in strokes gained off the tee, which is useful this week.
