Russell Henley heads to Sea Island as one of the more accomplished players at this resort. He’s torn up the Seaside and Plantation courses for three straight top-10s from 2014-16: T4-T6-T10. He’s a combined 32-under in that stretch with 10 rounds in the 60s.

Henley has finished near the top of the field putting ranks at this event and has been on average in strokes gained putting every year he’s been on Tour.

In 2017-18, he was 11th in fairway accuracy and 28th in strokes gained approach, so it’s easy to see why the RSM Classic suits his eye.

Henley has had some struggles late in 2018 but he showed some progress with a T29 last week at the Mayakoba where he was in the 60s the first three days.

Henley’s a former Georgia Bulldog who will be one of the fan favorites this week.
