DP World Tour Championship: Power Ranking the top ten in Dubai
In 16 rounds at the Earth course at Jumeirah, Hatton has never finished a round above par. He’s a cumulative 53-under with a pair of 72s his worst efforts.
Hatton has results of T6-T13-2-T8 playing each year since 2014 and was one out of a playoff in 2016.
The Englishman’s record at the DP World Tour Championship emulate his 2018 season: A ton of great tournaments and no wins.
He’s made his last eight cuts dating back to early June and has finished inside the top 30 in 11 of the last 12 events. Hatton was in the driver’s seat to win his third straight Alfred Dunhill Links Championship before falling off for a T2.
Hatton is sixth on the European Tour in stroke average. His forte has been putting (11th in strokes gained) but he’s proven to be an all-around player who can win a variety of different ways.
