World Cup of Golf: Power ranking all 28 teams at Royal Melbourne
This would be a Wale of an upset if Stuart Manley and Bradley Dredge pull this off.
For those of you who’ve graciously stuck around after that comedic failure, I thank you.
Bradley Dredge has made a good money on the European Tour over his career and is a two-time winner. He hasn’t hoisted a trophy since 2006, though, a drought that would make Charles Howell III.
The 45-year-old has actually shown some decent form of late in another wise inocuous season. He finished T52 in his last start at the Valderrama Masters and went T6-T16 at the KLM Open and Portugal Open.
Manley, 39, should be in high spirits knowing he’s moving up from the Challenge Tour to the European Tour in 2019. He finished ninth on the Challenge Tour money list on the strength of a win, two runner-ups and a third.
He is a vet to this tournament as he tied for eighth at the 2013 World Cup.
While these two are far from the most talented, they have the most to prove this week and will perhaps be more eager to be here than some of the favorites.
