Alexander Björk is a 28 year old Swedish golfer who currently plays on the European Tour where he sits 74th in the Race to Dubai.

Björk won the 2018 Volvo China Open with a final round 65 for a one shot victory over our #9 player on this list, Adrian Otageui.

A rather short hitter in modern terms, Björk is averaging 283.4 yards off the tee so far this season. As we’ve mentioned earlier, the Club de Golf Chapultepec; with it’s extreme elevation, overwhelmingly favors the longer hitters.

Alexander has been steadily climbing the rankings since he turned professional in 2009 where he began his career on the Nordic Golf League.

From there he rose through the ranks of the Challenger Tour before earning his European Tour Card in 2016.

Björk credits fellow Swedish golfers Henrik Stenson and Alex Noren for inspiration. In fact, in 2016 Stenson, Noren and Björk won three tournaments in a row (The Open Championship, the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open and Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge.

Björk has had several high finishes as of late including a second at the British Masters in 2018 which was won by fan favorite Eddie Pepperell. Who lest we forget plays extremely well after a night on the town.

Fun Fact about Alexander: In 2012 he became the first professional golfer to list himself on Trade In Sports whereby offering 10% of his future earnings in exchange for funding to support his playing career.

He’s currently listed at 200/1 odds of winning this week.
