The PGA Tour swaps coasts as the Florida Swing begins in Palm Beach Gardens for the Honda Classic.

After spending the first eight weeks of 2019 in Hawaii or on the West Coast, the PGA Tour is packing up and heading east to the Sunshine State for The Honda Classic.

The Honda Classic has its turn this week where plenty of players residing in the Jupiter area will have somewhat of a home course advantage this week.

This event is at PGA National where it’s been held since 2007.

Longer hitters have benefited on a lot of courses in recent weeks, but the name of the game here is precision.

PGA National ranks as one of the Tour’s tougher courses due to trouble lurking all over the golf course. It measures just 7,140 yards for a par 70 but a lack of par-5s and few opportunities to capitalize on length makes it a course all types of players can play well on.

Winning score has reached double digits under par just once since 2012.

The course is best known for a stretch of tricky holes 15-17 dubbed “The Bear Trap” which has caused many a leader to burst into flames down the stretch on Sunday.

Early weather forecasts hint at rain during the week and into the opening of the tournament, so take a look at how tee times stack up before finalizing your bets and lineups this week.

Stats to watch this week are strokes gained approach and around the green. Players comfortable putting on Bermuda greens are a plus. Some more are par-4 scoring, bogey avoidance and bounceback percentage.

The tournament field this year has been defanged due to its positioning after the WGC-Mexico and the week before the popular Arnold Palmer Invitational. Nonetheless, there’s still a good chance a household name will be hoisting the trophy.

Here are 10 I see to make a splash on the leaderboard and not on their tee shot on 17:
