Chalk Brooks Koepka as one of the players who will get to sleep in his own bed this week.

He’s one of the numerous Tour pros living in south Florida and will have plenty of Florida State fans heading south to root him on.

Koepka’s resume does leave a little to be desired as he’s 3-for-4 in cuts made at the Honda Classic without a top-25.

He’s still working his way into 2019 as this well be just his fourth start and first time playing in consecutive weeks since last fall.

Koepka is coming off a T27 at the WGC-Mexico where he improved his position over the weekend with a pair of 69s.

His best finish this year is a T9 in Abu Dhabi on the European Tour. He’s made his last seven cuts worldwide.

Koepka is 15th on Tour this season in bounceback percentage. He should be able to do some damage on the par-5s this week but won’t be able to utilize his strength off the tee as much as he’d like.

This isn’t the ideal setup for Koepka and I’m not sure this is the week to use him for a one-and-done, but it’d be a surprise if he went another year here without at least his first top-25.
