Every year when we get to The Masters, or for that fact any Major, there are always players who jump to the top of the list for who we NEED to watch.

It’s the beginning of April, and The Masters are here. Along with that comes a handful of guys that everyone wants to watch. Whether it is for a story-line associated with a golfer, a GOAT trying to hold on, or some youngsters trying to make their place in history.

Admittedly, all of these golfers are ones that I personally am looking forward to. All of them have specific reasons behind them, whether it is for the story-line that goes with them, or maybe because I had a friend in Las Vegas last week place a little wager for me (don’t tell my wife.)

The tournament just started up this morning. As is every year, it started off with the masterful honorary tee shots. Gary Player, looking incredibly spry for being 83 YEARS OLD!!!!, hit first. Then The Golden Bear himself stepped up, and at 79 laid into one himself.

With the tournament officially underway, the official entrants into the tournament teed off just before 6:00 AM Pacific time, making it one of the few times I’m happy to be at work early in the morning. Before the tournament gets too many holes in, here are the players that I am most interested in as we sit back to enjoy the greatest tournament in golf.
