Number 2:

Group 14, 11:04 a.m.: Tiger Woods, Haotong Li, Jon Rahm

It would not be wrong to put any group that includes Tiger Woods at the top of this list, especially a group that includes another one of the game’s rising stars like Jon Rahm. However this group just misses the top spot and falls in line at number two.

Really,no one would be shocked if either Rahm or Woods was at the top of the leader board when it was all said and done this Sunday because they are both playing great golf right now. Rahm has been impressive and in contention in a lot of tournaments since making his tour debut, but has never been able to hold it together for four rounds in a major. Yet he has shown he has the potential to make it happen and this Masters could be his first major victory and his break out win.

Woods, on the other hand, has had the Masters success and has won every tournament under the sun, including this tournament four times already. Sure, his best finish in the masters this decade was all the way back in 2013, when he finished tied for fourth. However he proved with his win at the Tour Championship at the end of last season that his game is indeed all the way back and he can win a tournament playing among the best the PGA Tour has to offer.

At this point in his career, playing golf for Tiger is all about major championships, and the Masters could be his best chance to win a major all season. Not only because this is the major he has had most success with four victories already, but because this is such a smaller field than any of the other three majors he will play this season.

If he can capitalize on the small field and win his first major since 2009, it would cement the greatest come back the game of golf has ever seen. But should fans expect anything less of Woods, the most dominant golfer the game has ever witnessed? No, they should not, and that is why almost every golf fan’s eyes will be glued to this group on Thursday.
