Kevin Na was in the 60s all four days last year at Trinity Forest en route to a T6 (66-65-69-68). This course logically seems like a good fit for a shorter, more meticulous player like Na.

He ranks 13th on Tour in strokes gained around the green and is historically a good, if not great, putter despite currently sitting 148th SG. Na was 11th in 2017-18.

At last year’s event, Na hit 82.14% fairways and 86.11% GIR.

Na enters off of two weeks of rest after a strong showing at the RBC Heritage (T10). Na has made five of his last six cuts coming in and also made the WGC-Match Play quarterfinals.

Na’s a two-time PGA Tour winner with a win last year at another short course at The Greenbrier as well as in 2011 in his native Las Vegas at the Shriners.

If comfort is key, then he’s in luck.

“I told my caddie, I told my friends, I said, ‘I think this is a great golf course,'” Na was quoted by the Star-Telegram in 2018. “It’s a modern day links, Open Championship style golf course.”
