Tiger Woods at Bethpage Black

As Tiger makes the trip to Bethpage for the fourth time professionally, anyone rooting for him should be feeling pretty confident. As long as he is healthy, he has played eight of his nine rounds there strongly.

This is the first time that he has played there with the tournament being the PGA Championship, instead of the U.S. Open. Not that it should bother Tiger, as it’s a Major, and everyone knows how focused he is.

He has been taking some time off, and made it clear as can be that there are only a few events during the year that take the highest priority. There are the majors, and then there is everything else.

The quest is back on in the chase for Jack’s record. After getting number 15 at Augusta, he finds himself only three back from tying The Golden Bear. As a huge Tiger Woods fan, I’m incredibly ecstatic.

Tiger Woods seems to be back, and he is heading to a course that he has played quite well at. Tiger exudes confidence, seeming to zap the abilities of those around him to play well, and to hold onto the mental strength it takes to make it through an entire Major.
