Bubba has not played particularly well of late, but as we’ve come to know, the mercurial golfer has his spots. Augusta is the most well known as he’s won two green jackets.

TPC River Highlands is probably next on Watson’s list of favorites.

He’s won three Travelers Championship including in 2018 when he posted the lowest winning score since 2011 to win by three at 17-under.

The tournament has sentimental value for Watson. His dad saw him win here in 2010. The wins in 2015 and 2018 came after his death.

"“I think I’m the first one to sign up every year. As soon as they put the schedule up, I sign up for this one because I want to come back here,” Watson said in 2018. “This means so much, not just from the golf side of it, but from the family side of it. My dad, the only time he got to see me win, he got to see me qualify for the Ryder Cup through this event.”"

Watson was also runner up in 2012 and solo fourth in 2013 and T-6 in 2018. A missed cut in 2017 was his only one of 11 starts.

His recent form isn’t quite the same. Watson missed the cut at the last two majors and was T-63 at the Canadian Open. He did post T-12 at the Masters and was T-4 at the Valspar in response to a three-win season in 2018.

Watson ranks second on Tour in strokes gained off the tee and 29th tee to green.
