Bryson DeChambeau appears to be trending back upward. He didn’t look like a top-10 player in the world for much of the spring and between April and May had three straight MCs.

He ended that streak with a T22 at the Memorial and has since posted a T35 at the U.S. Open and T8 in his last start at the Travelers Championship.

The constant tinkerer may be settling in with some changes made following four Tour wins in 2018 and a European Tour win in early 2019.

"“Just been working a lot on my game with a bunch of different facets,” DeChambeau said. “I’ve changed the putter, changed shafts in the irons. I’ve changed driver shafts, driver heads, 3-wood heads. I’ve changed literally almost everything in my game coming from last year.”"

DeChambeau is 37th in strokes gained tee to green and 23rd off the tee. With relatively generous fairways, DeChambeau should be in good position to have a better GIR week than he’s tended to have (133rd).

The 25-year-old is fifth in birdie average and 34th in strokes gained putting. As long as DeChambeau doesn’t have to test his so-so short game by avoiding TPC Twin Cities’ numerous hazards, I like his chances at recording another top-10.
