John Deere Classic: Top 10 power rankings at TPC Deere Run

Between the bucket hat, mustache, candidness in interviews and a solid golf game, there’s plenty to root for with Joel Dahmen.

The 31-year-old is trending toward his first PGA Tour win after finishing co-runner up at the 2018 John Deere Classic and solo second at this year’s Wells Fargo Championship.

Dahmen also has a T-9 this year at the Farmers Insurance Open as well as a pair of T-12’s at The Players and Puntacana.

Dahmen is coming off a T-43 at the Travelers Championship.

This is a breakneck time in the schedule for most of this week’s field. The fact that Dahmen’s coming off a couple weeks of rest could pay off here.

He is not particularly strong in one area statistically, but is above average in all strokes gained categories except for around the green. Dahmen is 58th off the tee.

Fairways aren’t too tough to hit at Deere Run and Dahmen is 36th in proximity from the short grass. He’s also 35th in approaches from 150-175 yards. During his T-2 finish, Dahmen hit 77.78% GIR and 82.14% fairways (302.4 distance).

He also ranks 53rd in par breakers.

Dahmen is 165th in SG around the green, but she shouldn’t find too much trouble around here.

This will be Dahmen’s third trip to the Quad Cities.
