The 2019 British Open is here, and it’s time for the Pro Golf Now official picks to win.

The last major of the year is here, as the top male golfers in the world head to Northern Ireland for this year’s British Open at Dunluce Links at Portrush.

We decided that we would get together as a staff to bring you our picks for the tournament. We have a good-sized staff here at Pro Golf Now, and it seemed like a great idea to put out who we thought would take home the Claret Jug come to the end of Sunday’s round.

Although this is the first time we have put something like this together, it came together pretty well. The entire staff took part with picks being spread across the board. We have a dark horse or two, heavy action on the favorites, and plenty of golfers that were chosen. We ended up with ten different golfers being selected.

Francesco Molinari took home the win last year and is looking to become the first repeat winner of the British Open since Paddy Harrington did it back in 2007 and 2008. Only yours truly believes in his chances to take home the Claret this year (spoiler alert).

Here is the Pro Golf Now staff picks to win the 2019 British Open. Each writer has their twitter handle with their pick (if the said writer has a handle), and odds brought to you by oddsshark, accurate to Wednesday morning.
