Adam Scott – 28-1

After a down 2018 season which saw his ranking drop to 41st in the world, Adam Scott has been on a Major tear as of late. The Aussie has finished inside the top-20 in the year’s first three majors, including consecutive top-10s at the PGA Championship and U.S. Open.

While Scott has only played in 10 events this season, taking almost a month off before each major certainly is working for him. Scott ranks inside the top-30 in all strokes gained categories and ranks inside the top-10 in four making Scott still one of the most complete players in the world.

The one weakness this season has uncharacteristically been driving accuracy (115th on the PGA Tour) and British Opens have a knack for turning a 10 yard miss into a 50 yard miss.

The key for Scott this week will be his ability to avoid the penal rough at Royal Portrush. If he can keep his ball in play, Scott will have a good chance to win and completely worth the price at 28-1

At 38, Scott is playing for majors and should be well focused and well prepared. His best finished at the British Open came in 2012 with a solo second.
