British Open 2019: Best value odds on international players
Rafael Cabrera-Bello 66-1
Many things come to mind when one thinks about the British Open. One of which is Seve Ballesteros, who accounts for all three of Spain’s British Open Championships. To be just the second Spaniard all-time to win the British Open, Cabrera-Bello will have to contend with countrymen Jon Rahm and Sergio Garcia.
Prior to last year’s British Open, Cabrera-Bello had missed three consecutive cuts and then finished 74th at Carnoustie. Ahead of Royal Portrush, Cabrera-Bello is scorching hot posting three consecutive top-10 finishes, two of which occurred on links courses.
The 35 year-old ranks towards the middle in all strokes gained categories, but seems to have learned to love links golf. His best finish at the British Open came in 2017 at Royal Birkdale finishing T4.
At 66-1 to win and 5-1 to finish in the top-10, Cabrera-Bello is riding maybe the best stretch of golf he has ever played, and the experience to perform well at the British Open.
