Patrick Cantlay just keeps chugging along. A T-41 last week at the British Open was nothing to jump off the page, but it signified making the cut in all four majors.

Cantlay briefly led at the Masters (T-9), was among the best in the non-Koepka division at the PGA Championship (T-3) and was T-21 at the U.S. Open.

Pair that with his win at an elevated status event, The Memorial, and it’s been a stellar 2019 for the Californian.

While this week is a no-cut event, it’s still worth nothing he enters the WGC-FedEx St. Jude making the weekend seven times in a row. Six were T21 or better.

The former UCLA Bruin ranks second on the PGA Tour in total strokes gained as one of a handful of guys gaining more than two strokes a round. He’s got one of the most well-rounded games out there as 25th in putting is his statistical weak point.

He’s first in scoring average at 69.18.

Cantlay will make his TPC Southwind debut. He took three weeks off prior to the British Open, so he should be one of the more rested players in the field.
