Paul Casey has had some solid finishes at the Wyndham Championship since 2008, including a personal best T-3 in 2015. That was his fifth made cut in six starts at Sedgefield.

Casey was also T-18 in 2014.

The Englishman has a win this year at the Valspar Championship to go with six top-10s in 17 starts. He’s cooled down a little bit in recent weeks with a T-57 at the British Open and T-27 last week at the WGC in Memphis.

This season on Tour, Casey is hitting the ball at an elite level. The 42-year-old currently ranks eighth in strokes gained off the tee and 11th in SG approach. That translates into seventh SG tee to green and 17th best scoring average.

He’s top-40 in any approach distance from 100-200 yards.

It hasn’t been a good year for Casey on the greens. Fortunately, his last two career wins at the Valspar came on Bermuda greens like what will be in play this week in North Carolina.

Casey is eighth in the FedEx Cup standings and looks to be able to only improve his spot for the top-10 Wyndham Rewards cash grab this week. He’s the highest-ranked player in the field.
