Awards season is in full swing. Time for the 2018-19 PGA Tour Superlatives.

2019 was a banner year for golf. The PGA Tour had drama, suspense, and old champions attempting to maintain their throne while young stars aimed for the top. Golf fans were treated to four fantastic majors, each with their style and flair. We got to see iconic venues like Pebble Beach while newcomers like Royal Portrush shined on the biggest stage.

The PGA Tour is not without flaws but this season showed the game is in a great place. The quality of golf has never been higher, and every week there are seemingly a dozen bona fide contenders captivating the golf world.

The new condensed schedule provided fans with non-stop excitement from March through August and the new Tour Championship format proved to be a success with an exciting final round duel between Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka. The only negative at this point is that we have to wait so long for The Masters!

With such a great season behind us, I wanted to hand out superlatives for the 2019 PGA Tour season. It was my goal to highlight some of the incredible, funny and quirky events of this season, and some of the players that defined a fantastic year in golf. To start, we are going to name the top-dog on the PGA Tour this season.
