The Korn Ferry Tour graduates are eager to get their 2019-2020 PGA Tour seasons underway. Scottie Scheffler could go on to be the most successful of them all.

He finished first on the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour regular-season money list and the first in the KFT Finals by going 1-T11-T7.

Scheffler’s one of the hottest players on the planet and should be refreshed after a week off.

The 23-year-old was a junior stud and went on to an illustrious career at the University of Texas from 2014-2018. He was an All-American and a Walker Cup member.

As talented as he was, so very few get to waltz right on to the PGA Tour these days.

So, he went to the KFT and recorded a solo second finish in March. As long as he played solidly the rest of the year, that put him in great shape to crack the top 25 at season’s end.

Scheffler went on to record another solo second and a win at the Evan Scholars Invitational to keep climbing the 25 standings.

The Texas native will be making his A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier debut. He’s played in 11 PGA Tour-sanctioned events. Scheffler finished T-22 at the Byron Nelson back in his first start in 2014 and qualified for the U.S. Open each of the last three years (T-27 in 2017).

Scheffler can smoke the ball. He averaged 316.1 yards off the tee on the KFT while maintaining 53rd in accuracy. He was fifth in GIR, hitting nearly three out of four greens. Finally, he was 12th in putting average.

The one knock on him through his college career was inconsistency. He tended to show up at the big events, and when he had his best stuff he was tough to beat.
