Jimmy Walker – 100/1

Jimmy Walker has never been great off the tee, which is okay because of his strengths everywhere else as he goes towards the green.

Every year during the 2010s, since this season is officially the 2020 season, Walker finished in the top 50 in either approaching the green or around the green in SG. He had plenty of seasons where both of them were in the top 50, and a handful of seasons in the top 25 as well.

Normally a very good putter as well, Walker finished in the top 50 in five of six years heading into last season. It was easily the worst putting we have seen from him in a long time and is likely an outlier. I would say Walker gets back to his top 50 in SG status putting for the 2020 season.

Walker used to be a regular at A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier, formally The Greenbrier Classic. in 2013, he finished T-2nd. He has only played in it twice since then, most recently in 2017 when he finished T-18th.

With past success at the course and a very solid and complete game, minus off the tee, Walker is normally a solid pick. I like him this week as a dark horse.
